Happy Tails
Scoop:
Deaf and blind in one eye, Scoop was left at Animal Regulation with a sign around his neck, "Please euthanize this dog." He patiently waited for over a year before his forever family, Stacey and John and his new siblings Reese and Buddy came to take him home. Scoop could not have found better people or a more nurturing home. They found something wonderful with him, as well "We needed Scoop more than he needed us each dog that comes into your life brings you something different," said John and Stacey. Thank you to the Sautter family for providing Scoop with a very happy ending and new beginning.
Tucker:
Tucker, who was affectionately called "Rainman", was abandoned tied to a tree in the pouring rain. He was taken to Animal Regulation and was rescued by C.A.R.L. when no one came to claim him. Tucker didn't have to wait long before Jason Raley and his family came to take him home. He has found his forever family and is doing GREAT! He is loving and playful, gentle with the kids, and they said he is just the dog they were looking for. They had a bunch of names lined up, and were thinking of keeping Rainman, but their one daughter has been calling him Cowboy and it's sort of stuck. Thank you to the Raley family for giving Cowboy a wonderful home.
Chip and Dale:
Chip and Dale were found abandoned near Balcolm Canyon. Having been left to fend for themselves, they were very close and it was decided that they needed to be adopted together. Chip and Dale got their wish when their forever family came to take them home to Surprise, Arizona. Thank you to Debra Radina and Ken Poppe for giving these two wonderful brothers a fantastic home together.
Seiguer:
Seiguer was rescued from Animal Regulation. He was anemic and needed several masses removed and a hernia repaired. Having fully recovered, Seiguer is now living happily ever after on a beautiful ranch in Somis with his new sister, Shady and his new mom and dad, Karen and Lenny Lopez. Thank you so much for adopting Seiguer and giving him a wonderful home!
Baby:
Baby was an older dog that was abandoned at C.A.R.L.'s boarding facility. She developed cancer and had to have one of her legs removed. Baby got her wish of a forever family, when long time C.A.R.L. fosters, volunteers and sponsors Terry and Mark Hubbard welcomed her into their home. She couldn't have picked a better family to be a member of. Sadly the cancer reappeared and she has since crossed 'The Rainbow Bridge'. Thank you Terry and Mark for giving Baby the chance to know what it really means to be a cherished member of a loving family.
Sophie:
Sophie came into the C.A.R.L. program Jan. 28, 2008 with her "brother" Beau. Beau was adopted quickly, but it took a while longer for Sophie to find her forever family. Shari Klaus had been fostering Sophie since August of 2009 and recently decided to make Sophie a permanent member of the family. Thank you Shari for giving our deserving Sophie the home that she has been waiting for.
Wylie:
Wylie is a survivor of the Guiberson fire. He was found walking out of the smoke and was taken to Animal Regulation where C.A.R.L. rescued him after no one came to claim him. "Wiley" is fitting in just great with his new family -- Morris, Jill, Lauren and Buddy Goldstein. Thank you to the Goldsteins for making our miracle dog Wiley a part of their family.
